The Moon DS interpretation emphasizes care, intimacy, and responsiveness: a question about how connection is expressed, rather than how many people you will meet.

DC means Descendant: places where a planet was setting at your birth moment. DC line astrocartography interprets that planet through one-to-one relationships, including partners, clients, and close collaborators. Keep the planet name with the angle; Moon DC and Saturn DC carry different themes.
Are DC, DSC, and DS the same thing?
Yes, these labels refer to the Descendant angle here. Our map uses DS. A Moon DC line in a guide corresponds to Moon DS on your map. Washington, DC is a city name; its DC abbreviation is unrelated to the Descendant angle.
How is a Descendant line different from an Ascendant line?
AC or AS marks where a planet was rising; DC or DS marks where it was setting. The Ascendant reading emphasizes your presence and initiative. The Descendant reading emphasizes encounters and partnership. They are different paths calculated from the same birth moment, not two names for one line.
Will moving to my Venus DC line help me find a partner?
Venus DS carries an attraction-and-harmony interpretation, but it cannot predict meeting a particular person or a successful relationship. DC line astrocartography is more useful when you check a real city, read its other nearby signals, and distinguish symbolic support from an outcome you can rely on.
Can DC line astrocartography tell us whether we are compatible?
No. It examines how the same location reads for two separate birth charts and whether their place-related support overlaps. It does not calculate synastry or decide whether two people belong together. In the synthetic Akureyri example, insufficient shared relationship support means the city evidence does not support a joint recommendation.
Can I use DC line astrocartography without my birth time?
